Samsung Galaxy S4 tips and battery extender

Thanks to friends and readers always pushing me to respond questions, I thought I develop an article that speaks about many ways that are not that common about the S4.   Since the S4 recently been rated by Consumer reports since the Top Rated phone, there might be a few lingering questions that ought to be answered.  Hopefully you read my previous article: The Galaxy S4 the spine to future phone.  It really delved into your features of the telephone.

In nevertheless my friend as being a power user (pics, Facebook, texting, games, research, Calendar reminders, Maps ' i have listed the ones she uses continuously that I recognize) posed a straightforward question: 'Is there by any means to customize the sync settings apart from always sync vs. never sync?  I am seeking to maximize my life cycle of battery.'  So I thought to myself there should be an easy way to handle all of your syncing.  LOL, did not know how hard an undertaking that would sometimes be.
Interval SyncingOne thing that you need to do is begin each app like Facebook and modify the refresh rate, when possible.  But for those who need a somewhat more I came across several FREE apps.
Actions Lite by SigmaCel ' this app is perfect for those who are a tad savvy.  You need to create the profile you are looking at with specific time frames.  Under 'New Actions' it is undoubtedly a ability to periodically sync however it is only for the accounts which can be listed inside your accounts (Gmail, Twitter etc.).

AutoSync Account Activator ' this app is quite simple.   Once you download you decide on your account that you'd like to control.  Click Periodic sync also it appears to master the syncing of applications about the phone.  Not positive that it controls all apps but looks very promising.
Tips and TroubleshootingAs a typical rule of thumb, it usually is best to turned off your phone every so often or restart it because phone has to update every now and then.  However, here are some suggestions to maximize life cycle of battery and improve effectiveness.
Extending life cycle of battery??         Turn off Wi-Fi.   I am not sure the value of people thinking they constantly need Wi-Fi.  If your phone is 4G/LTE than why would you use Wi-Fi?  The beauty about Wi-Fi is actually you are roaming you may basically operate your phone as normal ' Map out directions, check email, etc.  Turning off Bluetooth, S-Beam and NFC provides the same effect.??         Screen brightness should be set to 'Auto'.  The light sensor within the S4 successful and will automatically adjust the telephone in daylight at night.  This also saves power supply by dimming the screen at appropriate times.??         The S4 features a power saving mode available in Settings or perhaps the drop down menu (use two finger to swipe down).  Using this rather than third party apps will definitely lengthen your life cycle of battery.  If you possess down the power saving option it will lead you to its menu where you may select specific options to save power.??         Darker wallpaper also consumes less energy.??         Limit the volume of widgets on your own home screens.??         Change the screen timeout time.  The lower the times of day the better.??         Although the S4 has some very nice extra features, one particular are: Air View, Multi Window, Air Gesture, Smart Stay and Smart Scroll.  If you will not use these features you are able to turn these off also.

Lag and StutterThere are a couple of people who have reported slow response when tapping things such as the home key.  To solve any lag you may do one or consume:??         In 'Settings' scroll into 'Developer Options', visit 'Transition Animation scale', 'Window animation scale' and 'Animation duration' and hang up to 'Animation is off'.??         In 'Settings' click 'My Device' click 'Lock screen' after which unlock effect and change it to 'None'.??         Double tapping your home key will launch S-Voice but you are able to disable this for faster home button response by entering S-Voice and 'Settings' then deselect 'Open Via Home Key'.  I would then suggest putting the shortcut on the app on a single of your home pages.

Camera??         Use HDR in low lighting or mixed lighting for better photos.??         By default the digital camera should have the default picture size to 9.6 megapixels, in a 16:9 aspect ratio; to utilize the full depth of your camera set the scale to 13 megapixels that has a 4:3 aspect ratio.??         Sending videos via MMS can be difficult because from the bandwidth.  In the settings options you may actually modify the video settings to 'Limit for MMS.'??         Control what folks can see with your Gallery by building '.nomedia' at the root from a folder, this may prevent it from being observed in the Gallery.  You might still view it by visiting your folders.

SoundMost people do not even know this feature exists, even so the S4 can adapt for the sounds that you'll be able to hear in each ear with headphones.  The feature is termed Adapt Sound.  It sticks to testing each ear.  Therefore, the sound actually becomes clearer and adapts for a hearing.  Impressed yet?  Find this in 'Settings', 'My Device' and after that 'Sound'
